Access Developer

Avastone is seeking an Access developer.  This position is a full time exempt position, but a person interested in a part time hourly position may also be considered. 

The general qualifications are as follows:

• Has developed MS Access applications for a minimum of 3 years
• Has worked with multiple versions of MS Access, minimally 2003, 2007, 2010
• Has developed entire applications using Access with a separation of the data layer from the application layer
• Is intimately familiar with VBA program code
• Understands the built-in features of Access and structures applications leveraging those features
• Has developed Access applications using SQL Server for the data repository
• Writes SQL queries understanding the difference between Access SQL and SQL Server’s SQL statements
• Intimately familiar with triaging and correcting performance issues within Access

This position will work out of our Little Chute or Pewaukee offices.
