We are currently seeking talent in the local market with Epic certification(s) to help us build our Epic practice. Our goal is to support only local customers in the Midwest so our consultants will live and support customers within driving distance of their homes. Avastone offers many technology solutions (Interactive Web Sites, Customer Portals, Business Intelligence, ERP Systems etc.), giving you the opportunity to grow your overall experience in IT. Consultants will have the opportunity to grow into leadership positions.

Job Responsibilities:

Your job responsibilities will vary based on the client and the specific project. You will be responsible for providing effective solutions to our clients and are expected to perform a variety of complex project tasks in all phases of an Epic implementation: Strategic Planning, Validation, Re-engineering, Build, Testing, Training, Go-Live Support, and Optimization.

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of Epic build and implementation experience
  • Ability to work on multiple, complex projects with high quality results

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in healthcare systems and at least one complete implementation of Epic

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

  • Resolute Professional or Hospital Billing Certification
  • EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation Certification
  • EpicCare Inpatient Orders Documentation Certification
  • Willow Pharmacy Certification

  • MyChart Certification
  • Home Health Certification
  • Health Information Management (HIM) Certification
