Systems Architect

Job Duties:

Avastone is seeking a very experienced developer/architect with a diverse background. The ideal candidate must be willing to work within both .NET and Java technologies as we grow our Java/Spring offerings. Job responsibilities will include Java-based toolset recommendations, active participation with defining development methodologies and standards, architecting software solutions, leading project teams and leveraging existing software in providing solutions for our customers.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Must have experience with application scalability, cloud computing, database technologies, design patterns, security, and enterprise application software architectures
• Java toolset knowledge is required
• Willingness to work with .NET technologies is required
• Knowledge of .NET (C#.NET, ASP.Net and/or VB.Net) and mobile application development are a plus
• Good communication skills and experience with managing projects and implementing toolsets to meet the project requirements
• The ability to communicate clearly with our customers face to face and in writing is essential

Locations:

This position is based out of our Little Chute location. Interested parties must be prepared to work in the Little Chute office daily.
