Challenges:

Creative Group, Inc. is one of the top 10 largest meetings and incentive companies in the US. They serve Fortune 500 companies and small businesses across a broad range of industries at regional, national and international levels. Creative Group needed a way to track and manage all parts of their full service offerings which includes customized promotional materials, registrations, air ticketing, lodging, meals and guest activities.

Solution:

Avastone worked closely with Creative Group to gain a thorough understanding of the travel incentive business to ensure the proposed solution would meet their business needs.

We developed CreativeEDGE, a full featured web-based software application, which met their immediate needs and laid the foundation for Creative Group to expand their business and continue to be flexible in tailoring to their customer needs. CreativeEDGE manages all aspects of event planning from online registrations, travel arrangements, hotel accommodations and activity planning to event inventory tracking, audit logging, notifications, import and export data interfaces and reporting.

After an event has been created within the system, event attendees can register, select event activities, specify food, lodging and travel needs and provide payment, if applicable.

CreativeEDGE integrates with Sabre's ticketing system to manage the logistics of airline ticketing. PAXScan, a custom bar code scanning system, integrates with CreativeEDGE to provide bar code scanning of event attendee badges for recording or approving attendance at various activities during the event. The resulting management reports are provided to the client.

Because CreativeEDGE is a web-based application, Creative Group's clients can also setup and manage their own events. Users can customize events with graphics, themes and configurations while utilizing the system management and reporting functions.
