Challenges:

Bassett Mechanical (Bassett), a provider of custom-built mechanical contracting, metals manufacturing, and maintenance service solutions to customers throughout the world, were limited in their ability to readily update content and could only update the job openings on their website. Their four-year old site needed to be optimized for SEO and to showcase their latest capabilities and projects.

Solution:

Avastone worked with Bassett to define the functionality needed in their new website and created a new design that would be simple for potential customers to find relevant information. We implemented the site design within the Drupal CMS so text, images, links and meta information (needed for SEO) could easily be updated by designated Bassett staff. We conducted training for the Bassett staff on how to modify, add and delete pages, images and PDFs. Avastone provided phone support to the Bassett staff as they used the CMS to enter the content into their new site.

Impact:

• News and other frequently changing areas of the site are easily updated
• New product innovations can be easily added to the site
• SEO improvements resulted in more leads and inquiries from the site
