Challenges:
Dutchland Plastics Corporation, a family owned company specializing in custom rotational molding, blow molding, and assembly of plastic products needed to be able to improve their inventory management and shipping processes. They wanted a mobile solution that preforms reliably and integrates back into their aging ERP system.
Solution:
Avastone worked with Dutchland Plastics to define the requirements for inventory management and shipping that were not being met with their existing ERP system. We created an application that allowed them to take inventory using mobile computers designed for industrial use and an application that allowed them to create and print shipping documents using the mobile computers.
